American Idol season 20 winner and runner up Noah Thompson and HunterGirl have officially extended their ongoing tour. They recently announced that they’re adding three more shows to their eight city shows.
The American Idol Alums Add Three More Shows To Their Tour
Before kicking off their highly anticipated tour in Columbus, Ohio, HunterGirl announced that they would be extending the tour via Instagram. Within the announcement, she specified that they added shows in Marion, Illinois, Angola, Indiana, and Nashville, Tennessee.
The two singers have been living in the fast lane this year ever since their run on American Idol. It was especially been a complete turn in Thompson’s career who previously always worked overtime in his hometown.
“I can’t believe a year ago, I was working construction. Now I’m announcing a tour with one of my closest friends, HunterGirl,” Thompson said.
The two met in American Idol and became close friends while competing against each other. He stated that he’s been living the dream of being on the road and performing on stage.
The same could also be said about HunterGirls’s career, despite not winning the American Idol title, her music career has taken a huge boost in fame. Her song “Red Bed,” reached number one on iTunes All-genre and country charts, and she continues to perform on live shows across the country. Her original single “Hometown Out of Me” previously heard on American Idol will release to streaming on October 21. Fans anticipate that she will have the same success with this single.
American Idol Alumni Join the Tour
Also included in HunterGirl’s post is the announcement that fellow American Idol Alums Laci Kaye Booth and Grace Leer will perform on some of the shows. The guest performers added more excitement to the tour, gathering more fans to watch the shows.
Booth rose to fame on season 17 of American Idol in 2019, and eventually placed top five. She recently parted ways with her record label after three years but continues to perform and make music. She also returned to American Idol earlier this year to perform on the Idol Reunion Show alongside fellow country crooner Laine Hardy.
Back in season 18 of American Idol, Leer made her top 11 finish. Afterward, she signed a record deal with 19 Recordings and has spent the last year writing and recording music for her EP. The self-titled debut EP was recently released and gained relative success. Leer also released a digital cookbook after enthusiastic responses from fans on one of her Instagram posts.
Tickets are now on sale for each stop of HunterGirl and Noah Thompson’s concert series. Ticket prices are dependent on the venue.
